			<description>I had a very successful fundraiser - a spin challenge on stage with a country band at a local club.  I must admit I had done this before so the organization was pretty easy locally.  



To make this idea a little bigger - what would anyone think about organizing a group PPRAC spin challenge at a local Home Depot or some other large retailer.  That would be cool. 			<description>One good tactic is to reach out to a company or organization that may not be able to donate funds, but goods or services instead.

You can turn that into a raffle, which has worked wonders for Selene &amp; I.



One thing we do is to hold the raffle in the summer, well after we've done most of our direct fundraising efforts. It works in 2 ways:

1. It often elicits responses from people who haven't gotten around to donating yet.
