on the last ride they were not combined, but I'll check on that
probably not, as the cash/checks are tabulated by the local chapter of ACS ... and the online ones are done by the national group

However ... we will be updating and possibly posting rider's donation levels later on in the year. Probably on this forum.

Thanks Dave - the website donation is the way going that's for sure - people love clicking on the screen.

I know that from the last ride, you can enter information about offline donations received (Cash or checks which you send in to the American Cancer Society). I'm not sure exactly what the process is to get these donations confirmed to be reflected in the total amount contributed, but I think there's a confirmation process which can be completed.

Either way, any contributions received either in cash, check or through the on-line contributions website are welcomed.

I received a donation to the ACS in the form of a check and I'd like to have the amount added to the online tally. I saw in one of the instruction sheets something about submitting to a local ACS branch. Will the branch nearest me (I live in TN) be able to apply it to my page? Would it be better to mail it to the ACS branch in PA?

definitely send it to the Allentown ACS ... they're the ones that work with PPRAC.

the 2nd page of that PDF is where you can write down the info for pledges & donors

I'll get it in the mail pronto. I'm guessing all future donations will be done through the site since it looks pretty easy for them (ACS and the donors). I'm sure that's the whole point!
