Dave:
I have a days ride to dedicate to someone. He happened to be a mountain climber and was going to help me climb Rainer when got better. Unfortunatly he lost his battle. I promised his family that I would honor him on the day that had the most climbing. If you know which day that might be I would love to tell his family. It would be really special for them to know that on that day Niki will be remembered.http://tc-cancer.com/forum/album.php?albumid=15&pictureid=132

As we get closer to the ride, that'll be more obvious. Or maybe it'll be clearer what day will have the biggest climb of the week.
When do you need to know by?

There's no rush. I can call his folks anytime. I guess when the routes are better defined I can do a bikely route and check myself.

Unfortunatly I have a few people I'm riding for.

On the longest day I'm going to wear pink and ride for all women who have been affected by cancer.

I think that's a fine idea. We should definitely try and organize a pink day.

I don't know about full-fledged pink, but these have hints of pink (and support the fight against Cancer)

My pink shorts arrived. OMG pale They look like they were made for a 220lb cheerleader. The search continues. All kidding aside I do have to ride all pink. We have 3 friends currently fighting breast cancer.

Is there still talk about having a pink day? I have a pair of pink "cancer sucks" socks. Also, maybe we could get pink bandanas and do something with them. Just an idea. I have no idea what I would do with a pink jersey after the PPRAC ride.

Friday Aug. 7th is going to be "Pink Day". I have pink "Cancer Sucks" socks, pink bathing trunks a pink "Real Men Wear Pink" shirt and a pink hat for when I'm not riding. If I can figure something out I'd like to put a pink cover on my helmet.
